i think this is really key.

of course it's clear to see the advantages of having one's own ground. but don't forget all the negatives too, not least the initial outlay. owning is not imperative. I don't own the building my business runs from, nor the multiple venues we regularly host events in in Kingston, often with significantly bigger crowds than would ever consider to go to Mitcham.

never understood the necessity to own a ground, when we have no money to pay for it. The council as a landlord is as secure a landlord as one could ask for.
