I haven't used the word boycott. I am not calling for a boycott.

But like many others, I don't like the journey to Mitcham and I don't enjoy watching football at Imperial Fields. I choose where I spend my money and I choose not to spend it there.

I feel exactly the same. I went to two games at Mitcham last season: Carshalton because we had a fans' forum afterwards and Wingate because it was a cup game. I was also going to go to the Hornchurch game if we'd needed a result to stay up. I'll probably go to a small number of games there next season if there are similar circumstances.

But like you, I hate the journey and I hate the venue. A good team can alleviate that a bit but the less said about that the better.

With two young kids, I don't have the time or disposable income to go to nearly every game any more, so when I go it needs to be easy and/or enjoyable. Mitcham is neither. I'll go to the local games if there are any (I did Leatherhead, Met Police, RPV and Casuals last season; the latter was a great reminder of when Ks used to be fun), any new grounds and the good away games like Lewes, Hastings and Margate. Mitcham is a long way down the list of how I want to spend my Saturdays right now.
