My lovely Dad, RIP
Views: 8987
Not many of you will have known my Dad very well but he was the man who took me watch Levred back in the 70s, stood on the touchline while I played U8s - U12s for Pelham Ashtead (and received the Golden Boot one year from Chris Kelly), took me and my brother when we a were bit older to Fulham and Chelsea and Wimbledon and Crystal Palace and many others, came to watch Ks in the Trophy match at Southport, then the final at Wembley, joined me and my son, Alistair, more than a few times at Kingsmeadow, and saw his last live game of football - Merstham v Ks - in August last year.
(He was a Leeds supporter, BTW)
