I believe there was a few new people proposed and seconded for committee. These included the current committee, except for John McCormack, who is voluntarily standing down. The new people on committee are (if I can remember correctly); Rex, Iain Butler, Ollie Underwood, Phil Luzio, Jamie Grubb, Simon Bell, Josh Bell and Matthew Carlin. There was some kind of debate whether the committee would need this many people, which included at least one member of the current committee threatening to resign her post on the committee (which I believe was later retracted). After it was mentioned that if you limit the committee to less than the people proposed for committee it would need a vote at the AGM, it was decided that all people proposed would be duly elected onto committee. Supporters Club now has a healthy number of about 16 people on committee.
The AGM was adjourned as there was a motion to change the constitution of the Supporters Club to be able to hold the board to account, on behalf of the Supporters Club and its members. As a constitution change, this would need to be voted on by the members of the SC. The adjournment of the meeting was to allow members time to deliberate this change and a vote will be made on the date the AGM resumes (date TBC).

I think I have that correct and I guess the minutes of the meeting, which should be available to all SC members, will clarify.

Welcome to all the new members of the SC committee. I’m glad there’s new people with new ideas on board.
