Look at the revival of Walton & Hersham. Six crowds above 1,000 last season, record after three promotions this season played five won four drawn one scored 21 conceded 10. Last week’s crowd was 761. Highlights package for every game on YouTube and other social media especially TikTok. Games screened live overseas. All achieved with an initial 17 pence in the bank account.

Notably they do not own their ground and their directors say they could not have achieved this success if they had.

Another point is they have backed the same manager Scott Harris for three plus years. At one point they used 100 players a season, now they have a strong squad and several players have played 100 games.
