Totally agree.

It’s also another change which hastens the gradual change of non-league football players from “lads who are really good at football but can’t turn pro” into “lads who go to the gym a lot and aren’t actually all that good at football”.

I’m astonished by how bad the standard of close control and first touch are these days in the Isthmian League. A lot of the players just aren’t actually that good any more sadly - and it feels like this will make it even worse.
