Thanks for the reply, Bradley; I'm sure everybody is pleased to hear directly from players.

I understand that you don’t want to comment on the situation with the board and the fans, but I think you need to realise that, for long-suffering supporters, what we see on the field is inextricably linked with the way that the club is being mis-managed by the directors.

You say that you believe that we’ll get promotion, and you may well be right. I think it’s clear that Farnham are firm favourites to win the league, so at best we’ll be in a four-way fight to go up through the play-offs.

But I would come back to what happened last season (obviously before your time). We surrendered our position in Step 3 with a voluntary relegation. Yet we now seem to be fighting tooth and nail – and spending a seemingly significant sum of money – to return to where we were before that surrender.

That would make little sense at any club, but when you factor in that at least some of the money being spent this season has come from the money that was supposed to be set aside for a new ground, it becomes inexplicable.

As for your personal situation, it’s obviously entirely up to you where you play, and I’m enjoying watching you play for Kingstonian, so long may it continue. But I’m thinking about my own situation when giving “advice” – I recently left my job, where I’d been for many years, because I wanted to challenge myself and do something better. In doing so, I said goodbye to a number of good friends, but I’m absolutely sure that it was the right move.

Anyway, best of luck on Saturday, and sorry for the problems you had registering on the forum.

SACK THE BOARD
