Credit to you for taking the time to get involved Bradley.

Ultimately I think if there's been any sense of negativity towards the side, you've basically been caught in the crossfire between fans and board. That's not ideal but is the result of the board offering poor communication and (some of them) never turning up to matches. Some people just want to vent, rightly or wrongly.

I think there's been a bit of dissent towards the focus on playing out from the back and conceding some cheap goals, but I think that's probably the nature of non-league football. For what it's worth, I think the people who have been at matches have really enjoyed watching the attacking section of the side in particular. I know there's been some moaning, but to be honest I thought the fans were pretty fair and reserved last night when, with all due respect, you lads conceded six goals in the second half against a side second-bottom of the league!

In terms of us not knowing the players, I think this frustration is also a result of 3-4 years of constant chopping and changing, not just in terms of squad but in terms of our home ground. We've now had five different home grounds since 2017 (Kingsmeadow, Leatherhead, Corinthian Casuals, Tooting and Mitcham, Raynes Park).

The only link we had to (say) 10 years ago was Rob Tolfrey in goal. He was always going to move on eventually, but we have a bit of an identity crisis, and seeing a familiar face made it feel like Ks. Every summer we seemingly have to get to know a new ground, a new manager, 11 new players. That's not your fault and I don't think any of it is meant to be (and shouldn't be) personal.

You all seem like good players and good lads. If we had a solid plan for the future and a trustworthy board there wouldn't be any issues. I guess you've come from a club on the up and joined a club who have seen things go downhill. Hopefully you lads can change that direction of travel.
