The Board of Directors can announce that it has reluctantly accepted the resignation of manager Scott Harris yesterday evening with immediate effect.
Chairman Yioryos Vasilaras says: "It's with an extremely heavy heart that I accepted Scott's resignation yesterday evening. Scott's decision is solely based on the fact that he's not enjoying football and specifically managing our football club in the current toxic environment created by a segment of our supporters.


Where do I start, what can can I say about Scott?
Firstly, he's the most amazing human being, he's a football man through and through, from the minute he's come through the door, he's given his heart and soul to the job.
I know that he took the job for a number of reasons in the summer, firstly due to our personal friendship, because it's K's and his Dad's history with the club and finally and most importantly to keep his group of players together and provide them with a platform to play together.
I'd like to personally thank Scott, his partner Natalie and obviously the K's legend and my very good friend Kim Harris for all their efforts, sacrifices and commitments during Scott's short tenure as K's manager."


Scott Harris said: "I am writing to announce my resignation from Kingstonian FC. A number of factors around the club have led me to the belief that it's for the best that we part ways. I would like to state my gratitude to Yioryos and his board members for the opportunity. I want to underline that this decision is not based around money or any broken promises on his part. I genuinely wish Yioryos, Jim, John and Ben the best for the future. Finally, thanks to the players and staff. I love you all."


In closing, the Board is grateful to Dean Thomas for offering to manage us tomorrow versus Hayes and Yeading United. The process of appointing a new manager has started with immediate effect and we will provide supporters with an update on this situation in due course.
