Just out of interest (it may have been mentioned on here before) what is actually needed to upgrade Grand Drive from a Step 4 ground to a Step 3 ground?

The difference in facilities, turnstiles etc between RPV & Casuals doesn't feel like it is a great chasm. Seating capacity also can't be too different between RPV's main stand that is slim but goes back a few rows to Casuals main stand that runs most of the length of the touchline but only goes 3 or 4 rows back. More powerful floodlights maybe?

The terracing down the side next to the park is a little rough I suppose, but not much worse than the terracing opposite the main stand at Tooting.

I've not seen the dressing rooms etc in either ground & I know there is a minimum m² in size for home/away/match officials rooms per step... if that's the problem then yeah it could be costly as it's a knock down/rebuild kind of job.

I get the point of the conversation is more who should pay for it rather than what it might cost/entail but it would be good to have an vague idea of how many more womblebucks could potentially be spaffed up the wall in due course.
