The elephant in the room is that we just don't have as many supporters going to games anymore for a variety of reasons.

This is the crux of it, our football club has been hollowed out over years of barely attracting any news fans, with the two seasons in Mitcham completely disastrous.

I think another problem for this service is that a lot of the fans we do have don't live in Kingston any more. Whether it leaves from KM or the town centre is pretty irrelevant to many of our fans, it makes no sense to travel via Kingston to away games.

And of course the more we struggle for people using it, the more expensive it will be per passenger. It actually isn't cheaper for anyone within walking distance of Surbiton station as the train fare is £12.10. I don't know the bus price but they're capped at £3. Nor would it cost £20 in petrol to do the journey. None of this is the SC's fault, we just need to grow the club so we have more fans. We used to laugh at clubs who turned up at KM with a minibus not a coach, now we can't even fill one.
