From where I stand in the RE - we seemed happy to counter attack and quite effectively for the first 15-20 mins . with Ascot looking more dominant. I will choose my words very carefully - our defending from min 20-45 against a progressive oppo left a little to be desired...

But our front line reminded me of Ossies Ardiles' 5 up front formation back in the day - what a fabulous turnaround - Sean producing a pearler again ( I hope his injury isn't bad). In Eddie we have the consumate forward and with Sean, Imran, Stan etc - it was sumptuous at times "Braslia " came the old cry!

The oppo continued to press and I lost count of the times their nippy no.7 got through and the amounts of unmet crosses came to nought.
