It might be the case that there’s an increasing reluctance for clubs with grass pitches to enter into ground sharing arrangements. When Corinthian-Casuals ended their arrangement with Epsom & Ewell early they said that there was too much of a toll on the playing surface as a result of the arrangement.

The rainfall we’ve had since the beginning of 2026 and the consequent number of postponements won’t have helped matters.
