Personally think everything sits somewhere in the middle… yes it’s not a great situation and Ashford is fair from ideal and things have been drifting for years. So in that sense I don’t think it’s going to make much difference, we’re already down to a core fan base who will in whole remain.

If it is an exceptional deal and we’re taking some match-day revenue, somewhat it makes sense to spend as little as possible over the next 2-3 seasons and avoid losses accrued from postponed matches.

But Kingstonian won’t die, it’s in a dark period and the fans who left and feeling apathy won’t come back. But if we do get a new ground in 3 seasons, new fans in the area will come and it will grow. Maybe slowly, maybe quicker depending on strategy.

And the two extremist and wrong views of ‘Kingstonian is waiting to die, everything is dreadful, I can’t finds any positives’ and ‘Everything is great, nothing is wrong’ isn’t helping or achieving anything other than drive everyone apart which is sad.
