Kingstonian has so much potential but it is draining away. We have been progressively overtaken by Woking, Dorking Wanderers and now Walton & Hersham in Surrey, we are now looking over our shoulders at Chertsey!

Personally I don’t think it is remotely realistic to think Kingstonian can own its own ground - but a council owned facility works really well or a ground share could. There is not enough money to buy anywhere even if there was anywhere to buy which evidently there is not.

Kingstonian can only return to Kingston with the support of the council. At least there is some sign they are more interested after having apparently led the club down the garden path on the Lovelace site which they now say was never an option.

I don’t think the board is as evil as some here. If you want evil, look at the destruction of Staines Town. I will never understand why we left Kingsmeadow before we had to. Six years of nomadic wandering are steadily eroding the club and surely we will be a step four club in a year or two at the most?

If you look at existential crises look at Walton Casuals. Ostensibly successful they closed before they made big losses. They could not afford to be at step three, drew fairly small support, made some big calls with their management team which hurt their base and showed little imagination in running the club.
