Supporters Club Membership

I think that the new look Supporters Club Committee has made a very good start to it’s work and members of the old committee have found ways of working together with the majority of new members. We have seen increased communication with fans, some excellent use of social media and yesterday we held a very successful Q&A session with manager Simon Lane and club captain Mark Waters. Most important Rex and Shaun (AKA Phil) seem to have struck up the beginnings of a working relationship with the club directors. This is essential in order to meet their objective of being critical friends for the football club and it is really most encouraging to see this.
There are lots of other activities being planned for the rest of the season. For example, on 2nd December when we are at home to Potters Bar Town, we are holding a family day with an after match social. This will include kids of supporters club members and maybe some of the players being mascots. There are also plans to organise a little league day and invite players from Little League teams to a match.
In short, there is loads of stuff happening. So ……. if you are not currently a member or still need to renew your subscription, you can join at the Club Shop on any match day.
