Simon was in a happy mood following the 3-0 defeat of Folkstone. It had been on the back of two frustrating defeats. There may be another player coming in this week.
He looked at a lot of players pre-season but was let down on numerous occasions, it’s clear he is working with a small budget though he has experience of working with small budgets in the past.
He will look at some of the youth players later in the season but it is a big step up.
He really enjoys getting results for the fans and highlighted Bognor and Folkestone away last season as his most enjoyable games.
Simon wants to be our new manager at our new ground. There was a brief mention about the progress of this but the supporters club will be pressing for a more informative update in the coming weeks.
It is frustrating to lose coaches but there are limitations on what can be spent. The SC may look to help In this area.
Simon really enjoys being at the club, he knows it’s a big challenge and he is up at night thinking and over thinking at times about how to be better.
Club Captain Mark Waters joined us as well, he was man of the match and got on the score sheet. He had only been playing football down here for around 4 years after playing up in Scotland. He was full of praise for the Ks fans, especially for their efforts in getting behind the team at Hastings and Dulwich.
