This side is now in serious danger of going down in history as the worst Kingstonian team of all time.

At the half way point in the season we're on just 12 points, which puts us on track for 24 by the end of the season.

This would actually be fewer than the 2004/05 Khosla/relegation season, when we got 26, and would tie 1978/79 as the worst Ks season of all time by points per game. (1945/46 we had fewer points per game but only because you only got two for a win in those days.)

Relegation is baked in now, there's pretty much nothing we can do to avoid it. It's been obvious all season we don't have the budget we need given the total lack of star power in the squad and the frequent failures to even fill our subs bench.

Today was the 13th time in a row that we've conceded two or more. No quick way to check if we've ever done that before but it's incredibly bad. We're also ten without a win again, which has become all too frequent in the last few years. And we're bottom of the form guide whether you look at 4,6, 8 or 10 games. Sad as well to read Lane's recent comments that the U18s aren't ready and to see that last year's standout Iker left for Beaconsfield without any fanfare.

The biggest worry has to be whether, if we stay in Mitcham, we'll even have the crowds/budget to avoid a second relegation next season. The step 4 leagues are expanding to 22 teams with four relegation places from next season. Given the state of the club, on and off the pitch, I have absolutely no confidence that we'll be able to avoid the drop into county football.
