This seems a very generous interpretation Paddy. What are the odds that both RPV and us get promoted to step 3 at the same time? Because if RPV don’t get promoted to step 3 at the same time we do, why would they spend the not inconsiderable sum of their money required to upgrade their ground for step 3 football when they aren’t playing at step 3?

In reality the decision to groundshare with RPV is not only just throwing the towel in on this season, but next season as well. We won’t be able to get promoted back up to step 3 next year and will just be aiming to avoid relegation to step 5. No doubt the playing budget next year will reflect that (lack of) ambition. The K’s are just in managed decline now.
