They serve completely different purposes, the forum isn't about reach and measuring clicks and views is irrelevant.

This is a space where our supporters can properly discuss the club - an online community that's been going for what, 25 years or more, largely populated by our longest-standing fans, many of whom also know each other in real life. It's primarily somewhere for discussion, particularly while our future is so up in the air. The function as a news source for a period of time when the club had an FWP website that auto-posted news stories here was always secondary.

Twitter achieves reach and I'm sure Tutu got lot of likes from his many contacts in the game. But it's also a cesspit and not really a space for sensible debate about the future of our football club.

FB is somewhere in the middle and sometimes has useful discussions but it does rely on people having an account, which for various reasons many people don't want to. Also both the official and SC pages have been plagued by spam over the last year.
