Hi John

Please can you ask the Directors to tell us when the next forum will be? Many thanks.

Hi Rex

I am happy to relay that request.

You may recall it being reported that the Club has a meeting with the Leader of Kingston Council and others from the local authority. This meeting is now to be on 21 February and I suspect the directors will need to make a rapid assessment of the outcome before providing feedback to supporters. I don’t yet know what form that will take.

If only they knew how to use computers themselves.

I understand that they don’t read the Forum as it contains persistent, and often personalised on them attacks on them.

Sorry John, but that is complete bollox. They can't refuse to communicate and then blame their refusal on other people.

You do a superb job apologising for them. But recognise when you're just being used.

Let me give you and others a tip. When trying to engage people in conversation with a view to influencing them, the following tend not to work:

- Making false statements impugning their integrity
- Making personalised attacks on individuals
- Publicly questioning their basic competence
- Describing their set up as rotten to the core

At least these did not feature in any guidelines on negskills that I ever read.

not sure people are looking to make friends. just to know what’s going on…

don’t you think it’s weird that John Bangs is reporting about a council meeting involving the future of a Kingstonian. that’s the kinda thing that comes from the club, I reckon. but you know, maybe there’s good reason it comes this route

Some people say the board lack fresh ideas but holding quarterly meetings every 6+ months is quite innovative.
