A deserved win yesterday for Ks, cheered on by great support.
This is no coincidence as we are called Kingstonian, we are meant to play in Kingston and this was the closest league game all season to where we are from and where many of our fans live.
I still do not understand why we are not still groundsharing at Casuals rather than in Mitcham. I gather the boards had some disagreements, but after this season surely it is obvious that we need to put differences aside and come to an arrangement which is mutually benficial.
Casuals are down £x000 from last season to this season - the only seasons in which they have been playing at step 3 have been the seasons when we were there paying them rent!
Ks are down 70ish in terms of attendance from last season to this season. This is not merely a significant blow in terms of atmosphere, but is also costing us the best part of a grand a game when you consider ticket sales and other revenue.
KGF isn't perfect, and it certainly isn't ours. But unless the Mitcham groundshare is about £20k cheaper than Tolworth, which I doubt is the case, this all seems completely daft to me.

Agree with all of this. A great turnout of Ks due to being local; and a great atmosphere behind the goals. Even the team played well. A real throwback to Ks being fun, which it isn't in Mitcham.

I would hope that the Board have - at the very least - reached out to Casuals and asked the question.
They don't even have to admit to us all that Mitcham has been a disaster - although it clearly has been - just do the right thing. As you say, any increase in rental cost would be offset by higher crowds and other revenue.
It's also worth stating that many of the Casuals "fans" who were most opposed to K's - stealing signs etc - have drifted away since Bracken departed. Yesterday's amicable atmosphere reflected that.

Were any of them at the game yesterday?

Would guess Fenwick would be there. George is on holiday apparently (though I don’t know when he is back)

What about the new director?
Or was that just a PR stunt that this board think we are stupid enough not to see right through!
