Joining the Supporters club

I’ve been contacted by a few concerned supporters today advising that the link to join the supporters club on the website has now been removed.
Very strange

Probably something to do with the new committee & protecting the legitimacy of voting etc etc etc.
But, on the chance that it is shenanigans, I hope the new committee to get to the bottom of it & publicly shame any perpetrators.

The link was there, just an issue on the weebly page itself. But I will be closing weebly for supporters club things after the agm, I find I can't use it for both sc and other Kingstonian things I do concurrently.

Weird.
I was looking to rejoin as I thought the SC was moving away from being the Boards Shield and becoming the Fans Voice again.

Seems like yet another dirty tactic from those who don’t want change and are happy with the way the club is being run!

Online participation is not referenced in the Meeting Minutes but understand this was raised at the previous meeting which many of us were unable to attend in person.
Hopefully arrangements can be put in place this time around.

We’ve been trying to push for online accessibility for the AGM/EGM but so far have been denied.
It’s as if they don’t want people to participate!

The supporters club will be the representative body for Kingstonian fans once again, just like the good old days!

Committee had tried a few ways to ensure all could hear each other if mixed between live and online, didn't find a solution that didn't cost a fortune, but quite possible the next years committee can find a secure good solution. I hope so!

Zoom or Google call.
Someone on the committee joins from a phone.
Pass the phone to the person in the room who wants to speak.
Have speakers in the room and mute the call when necessary
There. Solved it.
Beyond belief and insulting to people’s intelligence that you say you can’t do this. Or alternatively, if you genuinely couldn’t figure this out between the whole committee, my goodness me I’m glad there are some new people standing, because it’s mindblowing what else you all wouldn’t be able to do.

Perhaps the current SC is made up of members who are Inexperienced with technology.
I seems like new, Young committee members might be able to Bridge that gap by Holding virtual calls for supporters in Kingston and beyond who can't make the meetings.
See what I did there...

I thrive on being asked my opinion, thank you
What has been posted here on this subject is the first I have heard.
As at the 11th August the membership , which I understand was over 130. I think a conclusion can be reached with this membership number. I do agree there may be genuine supporter who wish to join to be able to vote but on the other side of the coin anyone on either side of the argument can the get family or friends to join with little connection to vote with their views. There should be enough confidence in any view to carry the motion within the existing membership which will be a more accurate guide..
I have received the email re the reconvened agm , the amendment to the constitution and the process. My view at the moment is to let things take their course. There are points in the communication that should raise questions and if so it should be before the reconvened agm.

If you can make Sunday and pay cash?... (I have omitted a sentence here) ... there's a big discussion about funding so I removed the option from shop for now
I am not going to name names as that would be counterproductive. This was the response I had when asked to pay online like advertised or via bank transfer
I don't think the above reason can be true if they will still take funding, it's contradictory.
