Oh dear thank you

Thank you for the entirely predictable responses to my original post. Winding up some of the contributers to this forum provided me with a little bit of sport after a good win for Ks.

Sorry to burst your bubble Jim but I don’t think anyone was actually wound up by your original post. I think it was more a case of people replying for entertainment purposes rather then because you have wound anyone up! We all know how pathetic you are so won’t fall victim to your childish games.

Fair enough, Jim.
But if you set out to wind people up, you can't then complain about getting abuse in return.

Unfortunately Jim, at best unhelpful. There is a motion to be voted on and it would be more valuable to argue the pro and cons of that. Also , if the vote is limited to those attending on 15th. The result could be based on an attendance of 30 percent of the supporters club which, whichever way it goes will be questioned by some. We want to ensure everyone has an opportunity to vote and if debated in advance in a better atmosphere than exhibited in the posts of last couple of days.

The current Committee of the SC have considered whether decisions to be taken at the re-convened AGM could be made by postal votes or whatever, but have concluded that a simple majority of those present on the night is the only solution.
I hope you are reassured by the thought that the new Committee members, whether you voted for them or not - indeed whether you are even a member of the Supporters Club or not - are dedicated to representing the views of all supporters.
Meanwhile, the Chair of the SC has told me that he believes many of the members - and even some of the existing Committee - are broadly sympathetic to what we're trying to achieve. I think it's a shame that some of the existing Committee are unable to support the new direction.

Maybe as supporters of the club they are in favourof the status quo.
There's been a few posts bout how new members will commited to represent all views so status quo along side change !?

My hope is that the majority of Ks supporters favour change.

If this forum is a barometer your hope is not misplaced Rex.
Let's hope it doesn't become a dictatorship of the majority and different opinions are welcomed

The barometer is the membership of the supporters club which is approximately 140. If 40 , for example, attend the reconvened agm and a majority by whatever size passes the changes there are still 100 views unknown. Appreciate they should have turned up but still an unknown. If the above scenario happens, which is more likely than not, the I believe the supporters club should do a survey of members. Re their views. This wouldn’t change the mandate but may influence how that mandate is taken forward. In my view this would be prudent because 1) it eliminates any accusation there was a lack of consultation and 2) the silent majority May suddenly not be so silent if they don’t like the way things are panning out

What is going to happen when the board ignore the new committee of the supporters club?

Well they may well do however at least fans know they have an official entity backing them and at least voicing their concerns to the board which I feel has been lacking over the years.
I don't wish to disrespect the current committee as I know they put alot of time and effort into helping the club but it does feel as if they became a group that just wished to defend the board at every avenue. I think this has caused the board to possibly feel like there isn't any major serious worry amongst fans. Could be wrong

Thank you Rex for that update. I will not be there as I am in Italy and have given my apologies for absence. I don’t know many on the committee old or new but we have chatted in the past and trust your thoughts.
