Doesn’t tell the whole story, the referee was s&!t. Couldn’t wait to give them certain decision. Denied a stonewall handball in injury time, sent Mason off when he had his shirt being pulled.

I thought it was a good performance against a "club on the up" and we were very unlucky not to win, given the saves made by Chelsea starlet keeper Ted Curd. Eddie, Somo and the GOAT are a handful.

Incidentally, Curd's parents were behind the goal with us. They live in Hampton and Curd's mum used to watch K's at Kingsmeadow with her father, just the sort of occasional supporter we've lost. They also said they'd have preferred a more local loan club...

It seemed a decent away turnout but numbers are certainly down - a sour note, i'm afraid, which must be appended to all reviews of K's matchdays this season.

Personally I thought the away turnout was pretty good considering (a) it was unpleasantly hot, (b) Hashtag is a very difficult town to get to (in fact some sat-navs don't even recognise the name of the town) and (c) there were no trains from Surbiton and massively re-routed trains from Kingston.

We again played well, and we again didn't get the points we deserved. I hope we don't make this a habit, but I do suspect there's a correlation between that sort of thing and having an inexperienced XI.

All good points you make.
Despite whats going on with the club, I think our magnificent travelling support is pretty consistent.
Never more so, than when we are involved in FA cup or Trophy action. This coming Saturday's trip to Carshalton is one of those occasions where I'm sure our 'behind the goal' gang will turn out in numbers, will make a lot of noise and get behind the boys and Simon Lane in what I consider to be a 'winnable' tie.
Hope to see lots of Ks there.
Come on u Ks!
