If you weren’t there - and with about 100 k’s fans actually in the ground that’s most of you! - then you missed a superb Kingstonian performance.
Honestly, with no bias, a fair score would have been about 6-1. In addition to our goals, we hit the woodwork 3 times, missed 2 one-on-ones and the Cray keeper made 3 very fine saves. We were rampant going forward from the first minute to the last. Our finishing is still a real concern…we needed a wonder-goal from Somo to get the two goal cushion and Cray missed a glorious chance at 1-0.
And on that goal from Somo. Wow. He got the ball with his back to goal about 14 yards out, controlled it on his chest, and then bicycle kicked it in the bottom corner. Stunning.
Another big bonus was having Tolfs back in goal, who is just so much more assured and confident than Endurance.
Cray were poor, it has to be said, but we hammered them.

No, I wasn't there and after being present at Carshalton and Bognor, it sounds like I missed a kind of backlash coming off of two very frustrating previous performances.
I must admit, you could see some green shoots in previous performances but, Simon Lane, his team and the lads look like they really went for this one. Lets hope we can carry this into the
Trophy game next week and beyond.
IMO, Rio Campbell and Tolfs return has been a real shot in the arm. Hope we can travel in numbers to Hastings.
Despite a frustrating start, away support and the 'behind the goal' gang has been amazing. Onwards and upwards.
Come on u Ks!

Glad it sounds like a good performance in an important relegation six pointer. Well done to the players.
A shame that our lowest Saturday league crowd of the modern era (since we moved into KM) witnessed it. A few weeks ago we had our lowest in the FA Cup. Yet another piece of evidence for the handful still in denial that Mitcham is killing our football club.

Perhaps for the first time this season over 90 minutes we decidedly did not look like a side in contention for relegation. One match is probably a bit early for starting talking about having turned corners but we did look a pretty decent side today .
