Just went on the club website. What's the point of Simon Roe taking photos if they're not even put with a match report?
The front page of the site is a total embarrassment. Imagine being a sponsor.

Do we even have any sponsors as I thought the board had turned some of these away?
Unfortunately the board won’t let a bad word be said about those doing our communications despite how utter shit the website, programme, social media is.
Just to add, the photographs from Saturday are great!

On the subject of shit websites (and I should know given how basic my K's archives one is) I don't think anyone would disagree it's not up to the standard of the one that Gary produced but I don't think it is a million miles away from it that makes much difference (to me anyway). Some teccie functionality may be missing like the ability to link automatically on places like this forum and maybe I'm missing what these sites look like on a mobile. However I'm updating all my stats now for November and checking away sites as well for reports etc and:
Kingstonian- Easy to navigate and neat layout- report and (both) team line ups for all games. Recent news showing at top of front page, results and fixtures showing on side of page, drop down menu for other categories.
Whitehawk- Cluttered front page. No report that I can see and just a team line up for Whitehawk taking up huge amounts of space.
Dulwich website- Pitcheroo!!! No match report that I can see (there are some reports but in the news section which are difficult to find if you have to scroll through)- everything slow to load with flashy graphics. 4 news items taking up most of the front page.
Hastings website- "New website coming soon". Results link to FWP.
Haringey Borough- Not much on front page but easy to navigate from drop down menu- no report- no team line up. Lots of the content appears to be provided by FWP. News items are called "recent posts" and there's only about 5 of them. No sign you can easily get to older ones.
Cheshunt- Dreadful front page but easy to navigate from drop down menus. No report.
Hornchurch- Yay- Match report! OK to navigate but generally not as clean as K's and not quite as much info either.
I'm sure I'm behind on my tech as I still mostly look at sites on a PC so whether all these big icons on other sites that take up half the page have some use for mobiles that our site is missing I don't know. Even so from my perspective the K's website is as good or better than nearly every opposition site both for navigation and for content and definitely better than any of our November opposition.

Comparatively speaking the website isn't as bad as others. Casuals website is one I find awkward on PC & mobile for example... but also comparatively speaking when you go from the excellent Kingstonian.net to the excellent Kingstonian.com (think we had pitchero in between that?) only to downgrade to what we currently have for reasons that are nothing more than pettiness then it gives causation to not be overly happy with it.
So to sum it up... it isn't shit compared to our Isthmian compatriots, but it is shit compared to what we used to have.
Fwiw, coming from someone who also lacks in modern Web design skills but still likes to try regardless - I like your website!

What a nasty derogatory response - especially when it comes to the programme. A lot of people give up a lot of their time to produce a matchday programme and you ride roughshod over them. You say the club is dying, but remarks like yours just put off the people that are trying to keep it alive.
If you went to away matches with any regularity you would notice that we are only one of a handful of clubs still producing a programme, something that the average supporter considers to be part of 'the matchday experience'.
I would suggest that you issue an apology to Rob and his team who keep the programme alive - but I doubt you will!

Speaking of Rosey… I wonder if she will choose to apologise to any of the people she has been rude to at football recently?!
Can’t really comment on the programmes as I haven’t bought one in years. In fact I think the last programme I bought was at the Fossil cup game a couple years ago. And credit where it’s due, Rob actually did a great job with that.
The website is seriously poor though, make no mistake about that! When you look at how good our previous website was to what we have now it’s honestly laughable. Yet another excellent piece of decision making from the board there!

The post was about the poor state of the new website, especially as we’ve been used to such a good website for a number of years. Somehow, you’ve got all outraged about the programme. Very strange.

sounds like a bit of a vindictive personal post here, from someone who anonymously made an account just to write this.

Oh dear, touched a nerve have I?
I do go to a lot of away matches.
An apology? They should be apologising to us for backing this shambles of a board!
The comms are shit, I stand by that!
