I think this was predictable, whether it was via resignation or getting sacked. He looked close to tears on Tuesday after Farnham Town & said all will be explained soon.
The FACT damning statement from both sides. Shows how messed up it is, plus people outside Ks see the embarrassment shows Ks are in a big mess. Wonder if the chairman Q&A on Saturday goes ahead or will it be postponed after Bognor.
Honestly who the f**k wants to manage a mess of Ks at the moment, makes Rishi look good at the moment

That's a little unfair on Mr Sunak. The better comparison is Liz Truss.

That's unfair on Ks,when Ks are in park football Sunak might be referenced, when Ks folded completely Truss referenced.
As an optimist bottom division of county league might be the Starmer like competence.

After hearing of some major adjustments for the immediate future that the club is forced to make, it is now clear that the difficult task of keeping the club afloat in this incredibly competitive league with our unique economics confirms that the role has been untenable for me.
I am unclear what he is alluding to here?
Anyway don't blame him. Why bother trying to get results when the people you answer to, the board, are no longer results focused.

(b) Not owning own ground?
(a) we literally cannot stay up because of ground situation, so no point paying any decent money for players, budget set to be reduced to 'a tenner a week and petrol money'?

Thats a shame. Decent man, decent coach and a long time in the game. I accept all he says in his parting statement and I wish him and his family well for the future. I hope he's had a good offer elsewhere. This might be inappropriate, but we don't want a caretaker manager/coach to take us through the death throes.
Dowse is available, he's got unfinished business, for fucks sake, beg him to come back and prepare us for next season.

Dowse would be mad to come back. This is an utter shitshow. Dowse should save himself for Real Kingstonian. More legs than this circus act!

I'd love Dowson back but he would be mental to join us having (for a bit) thrived in a division two above the one we'll be in. We'll be aiming well short of that calibre of manager and ultimately will surely end up with someone with little experience who we've never heard of. That's our level.

Sad news but not unexpected. Maybe this will be a wake up call for the board but I won't hold my breath.

Why worry, be happy.

Nice enough bloke seemingly but bought form by the board

I liked Simon as bloke, he did well last season, I think the performance this season was better than the results would suggest and I'd happily have had him around next season.
But ultimately when you look at the results...
The statements on the site are both absolutely mental things for us to publish for different reasons. Simon seems annoyed at a budget cut when ultimately it's being cut as we're definitely going down because of the poor results under his management.
As for Yioryos' statement...bloody hell. That's no way for a chairman to carry on. What is he on about anyway? "Results weren't good enough" etc - he's resigned! You didn't sack him! As for the stuff about the budget and the players not being good enough, do you think this will make other managers/players want to join us?
It's telling that despite Ks being bottom of the league, none of the fans really turned on Lane or the players. This is on the board. We need a complete overhaul of directors or the club will die. We need to let the directors aware of this feeling, probably in a stronger form than the recent peaceful protests.
