Amongst all the latest debate and today's important meeting, everyone seems to have missed the fact that our first team scored a magnificent 3-2 victory over play off chasing Bognor Regis Town today. Congrats and well done to the lads and our interim manager, Tutu Henriques. Give him the job!.

Yesterday was fun. We played alright, they overplayed at the back, Essa Janneh has long legs.
Waiting four months for a win only for the directors to confirm they have already accepted relegation is a good way to kill the buzz though.
As I said in the other thread there were too many things to unpick last night, but are we genuinely not even going to entertain the idea of trying to stay up?

Absolutely!
No reason why we can’t stay up!

There’s a very good reason that we can’t stay up.

With some pride/passion and Tutu Henriques I don’t see why not.

Ok I will spell it out simply because you don’t seem to have grasped the situation Ks are in. We will get relegated this season, regardless of where we finish in the league table, because the Board have agreed a groundshare for the next season at a ground that is not ground graded for step 3 (and is barely good enough for step 4). And that is not all. We will not get promoted next season regardless of how well we do because in their infinite wisdom the Board has agreed.a two year ground share deal and the ground is not up to the standard required in the Isthmian Premier (step 3).

Referencing Gary's earlier comment about "sporting integrity", I don't understand how the Directors can ask supporters to pay £12 to watch any more games this season, if they are deliberately setting out to lose.

Went to Vale last week and "digging" seems to be taking place next to the "stand".
Perhaps they are already looking at expanding it?
