A question to all .
Forgive me, but I don't recall anyone asking Chelsea if we could use Kingsmeadow. Could this be done? I would prefer to go down this route rather than the current one.
Keith.
Why worry, be happy.

Yep. The Supporters Club was asked to look into this.
Wearing my "Secretary of the Supporters Club" hat, I asked Chelsea about a possible return to Kingsmeadow via a ground-sharing agreement, and got a polite but firm No.
I have written to them a second time, just last week, stressing that "many supporters believe ONLY a return to playing in Kingston will save Kingstonian from failure. This would obviously be a catastrophe for Ks but also potentially a PR disaster for Chelsea FC" and asking them to look at the question again.

Thank you Cardiff K's. I hope that Chelsea will see the sense in this.

A PR disaster for "multi billionaires" Chelsea? One of the biggest proponents for everything that is wrong in football.
They couldn't give a damm.
Please don't be under any other illusion.
If you prefer simple maths, they have players probably earning £200k a week. Or £30k a day.
Ks paying £15-20-30k a season for "rent" would be nothing more than a massive inconvenience.
Sad but true....

I know. I accept that. I'm not stupid.
If you have any better ideas, please let me know.

The only time I remember Chelsea management changing their mind was when their fanbase was against the super league. So maybe some kind of contact with Chelsea fan groups is worth a try?

Lord Stephen Dormer is a Chelsea season ticket holder. He can start the campaign.

That would mean he had Kingstonian’s best interests at heart Rex. Forgive me if I’m not holding my breath.

The Kingstonian board have just signed a two year groundshare deal with Raynes Park Vale so I’m struggling to see what merit there would be in writing letters to Chelsea about a possible Kingstonian return to Kingsmeadow. For better or worse, we know that Kingstonian will be playing at Raynes Park Vale until at least season 2026/27.

I dread to think how few fans we will have left after another two years, playing Step 4/5 football, out of the borough at RPV.
By that stage, I think only a return to Kingston will save us, whether that's the Kingsmeadow football stadium or the athletics stadium.

All the more reason therefore not to send them an aggrieved follow up letter at this stage and revisit in 2026?

Because we need to be ready to return to Kingston in two years, not wait till then to start looking.

I agree keeping a positive relationship is worth doing. However the tone of what was suggested in my opinion will just reduce the possibility of a return to Kingsmeadow, which seems slim as it is.
