I think that statement is deeply unfair.
It's not like the board planned Ks relegation.

Very noticeable how much time the players spent acknowledging the supporters at the end of the game yesterday.
Finding out afterwards that not a single member of the Board attended the game, kinda explains it. You really have to feel for Tutu and the team of mostly young kids - they're sent out to play, probably expecting to get handed a whipping, knowing that not even one of our so-called Directors could be bothered to come and watch them.

The way the board - the people listed on Companies House and the people who sat at the front of that meeting two months ago - have let this group of mostly very young, very inexperienced players (and also a young, inexperienced manager) be the 'face' of our relegation is nothing short of cowardice. These lads have been hung out to dry.
Not being at the games is one thing, particularly if they have reason to be elsewhere, but to not even offer any kind of statement on our relegation or insight into how we're going to turn things around is just unacceptable.
Other clubs are already commenting on how shambolically we're being run. What reason is there to believe things will be resolved by pre-season?

It's very unusual for there to be no member of the Board at a game. I also hear that Lewes even emailed Yiorgios to ask who was attending and received no reply.

Very bad look not to reply, not a good look for the club. That’s 2 games in a row they’ve failed to turn up. Would think they’d be a board representative at Ks last home game of the season especially as we depart Tooting for RPV

Who’s Steve? A new board member?
Must have missed this statement.

Didn’t see Steve 2nd half at Margate game in the directors box, unless he went to hang out with some of the supporters. Be interested to see if all the directors will be there for the last home game of the season, should be but I’d be surprised if all are.

A reminder of John Fenwick's letter of 25 March 2023: "We are not looking to step away."

Yeah, something changed in 2024: the £40,000 per annum Wombles subsidy ceased.
