Who wrote the bile the." Chairman." Put out in his statement,he hasn't the ability to write that rubbish,Anderson and Winwright didn't rescue the club,my old guvnor rescued the club they just badgered him with promises of investing more money than he had, aiming the club back to the Conference league, his final game was beating. AFC in the Surrey senior Cup. As for a six figure debt all lies,it was. 13,600 pounds. They made all the promises about the team, the manager ,the. Volunteers and they renaged on every promise, they turned out to be cheats and liars and as with Fenwick yougos needs to be very careful, as for life members ,rewarding ,failure. Very sad a great club raped and looted. By three greedy bastards.

As no one has asked, how has the current Chairman of
the board become the majority shareholder from being the
minority shareholder of around 5%?.
Have the outgoing directors given away their shares to the
new self-appointed Chairman and director?.

my immediate responses:
1. We need someone who knows about comms. or even just a proof reader.
2. If this money is "100% enough" to "build a ground" - I would love to see examples of what that amount of money can deliver. Because I just can't believe it so.
3. The reason the Chessington plan fell through was because it's against London planning policy. Yes, it was widely thought policy might change, and green belt might be more available, but when Sadiq reaffirmed Labour's position those ideas had to be shelved. Since then the lack of communications with council is directly down to the club. I was a councillor for most of that period. Kingstonian wasn't on the radar. Without a women's team, without anything proactive, by parroting the lie that you can't fit a football pitch inside an athletics track, and by saying that leaving Kingston was in the club's best interest, there's no reason why the council should have cared or been leading the charge. Taxpayers would be let down for it to have been otherwise. Someone can FOI how many emails there have been from council to representatives of Kingstonian, I'm quite sure. Yes there's conversations now. And that's good, but it's a decade late in starting.
4. The info on whether Wombles money went to playing budget seems to directly contradict what we were told in person on the February meeting.

Wow, a hell of a lot to unpack here, this would have been much better as a series of individual updates over the last eight weeks.
Some of it is helpful, even encouraging. In particular, having a women's team again will be a real positive for the club. Good on Jamie Street taking this on, an absolute stalwart of the club through good times and bad. I look forward to hearing more about this - in particular, are we expecting the current U18 crop to graduate to become an adult side for us from the following season? And we might need to consider the name as ladies is quite old-fashioned now. But it's a real positive that this is happening, both as the right thing to do and for us to be taken seriously by the Council and other decision-makers in our ground hunt.
The ground update is welcome too, even if it doesn't show masses of progress. It seems like at least one of the previous sites identified last year has fallen through now but it's good that we're still looking at multiple sites in parallel. Let's hope the out-of-borough one is in a sensible location though - and I'm afraid I share Jon's scepticism about the financial side of things.
A hint at cheaper ticket prices is welcome. And seeing some actual figures for the money we've spent is positive compared to how things were before. It's also pretty sobering though about how far short we are of a competitive budget for this league and it makes you fear for next season in the one below.
A few things really spoil the update though.
Chiefly, the threat to ban supporters. It felt like after a well-received fans' forum eight weeks ago there was a window where relations between the board and the supporters could have improved. We have a staggering number of volunteer vacancies all of a sudden, which is really worrying. With club secretary, comms officer and physio all being particularly important ones. But these sort of threats to ban people are hardly going to encourage the fans to step forward at a time when it seems like there's a desperate need to get more volunteers.
The explanation of the AFC money is just dancing on the head of a pin and makes little sense. So we didn't spend it on the playing budget but on a bunch of other expenses that would otherwise have come out of the playing budget. It's effectively the same thing and in my opinion it's a massive portion of our nest-egg badly squandered over the last seven years.
Public criticism of the Council is hardly going to do us any favours either. And it's frankly bizarre when Chessington coming to nothing was more down to the Mayor than the RBK; and for years we were never even asking the Council for anything. When the plan was a permanent groundshare with Casuals perhaps we didn't need to. Whatever party the Council is, the problem will remain that there are very few sites suitable for a football ground.
About all I have time to say right now. But it feels like a real missed opportunity here, with some helpful updates being drowned out by the negatives.

The statement doesn't use the word 'toxic' though. It does talk about 'negativity' and a 'negative atmosphere' which is highly subjective, and whether intentionally or through poor wording has been widely interpreted as an attempt to silence criticism.

Our most toxic fans are the ones who are hell-bent on killing this great football club.
Sadly they are far too toxic to actually realise this. Which is a very sad irony.
I remember one of our now board members explaining to me at length last season that, as long as him and his mates “had a team to watch playing in red and white on a Saturday”, he couldn’t care less about anything else.
Now that’s toxic.

As Secretary of the Supporters Club, democratically elected to represent ALL supporters - and specifically on a mandate to "hold the Directors to account" - I am concerned that the Chairman would threaten bans against any supporters for the "crime" of dissent.
Lewes FC explicitly praised our travelling supporters for "providing some in-game entertainment" on Saturday. The Ks Chairman (if he'd been at the game) might have viewed the events very differently. It seems grossly unfair that a mere "custodian of the club" (to quote Mark Anderson) could act so arbitrarily and summarily.

Following the chairman's statement containing a lot of bile,Anderson and Winwright confirmed as liars from day one and still confirming today that position. They did not have a six figure debt on takeover they had a five figure debt 13,860 pounds and did what was legal transferred 80,000 pounds of old debt between companies, and regarding the girls team KS youth had an agreement until 2030 at Dinton fields where they can play for free generating their own income.More to come later.

… “hold directors to account”
Which is why the Supporters’ Club’s constitution needs changing
Why are directors allowed to be in the club, and presumably senior staff of the club (eg club Secretary)
It’s a big conflict of interests there. You can’t represent fans if the board has a club director on it.

1) agree. Not sure how long the one-sentence opening paragraph is but it’s horrendous. I feel for Robert here because as Comms honcho it’s officially in his name. And yes it’s tempting to offer to help with Comms next season but I won’t under this regime - how could i defend it honestly
3) not a good look to big up the current council regime’s long-term opponents. It’s politically naive thst statement- and why I don’t trust the current crop of councillors to deliver anything decent at least try to be nice and try to work with them. The borough could do with a community sports facility, as well as a swimming pool, and delivering one would look good for the current regime but Ks have to sell it to the council. Offer them something for a little goodwill etc. this statement doesn’t

Fairs, fair… this statement is full clarity on why there’s a lack of communication coming out of the club. Our chairman has no idea how to communicate with humans.
Probably should have run this statement past one of our Uni Communication Students volunteers to check. They would be able to tell you this is a disaster example in crisis management comms.
When you have 150 regular fans attending (at best) threatening to ban even a small proportion of these for ‘negativity’ is a bold move. This coupled with replacing the Fans Player of the Year award with Directors Player of the Year (and have the balls to then implore fans to attend these awards) makes me genuinely think their ultimate goal maybe to run a football club without fans…
