Volunteers Needed!
From the official club site:
The club has several vacancies that urgently need to be filled for the 2024-25 season.
Club Secretary / Club Media and Communications Officer / Social Media Experts / Match Day PA Announcer / Physio / Match Day Programme Editor / Match Day Programme Content Creators / Match Reporters / Radio Commentators
Please contact Yioryos Vasiliaras, Kingstonian FC Club Chairman, at chair@kingstonianfc.com for more details.
I think we can fill all these positions and more if this chairman ‘Urgently’ gets round the negotiating table with KBH!

Please can I ask if anyone has followed up on the Chairman's call for volunteers?
I emailed him (on behalf of the Supporters Club) two weeks ago saying that the SC might be interested in helping with the production of a matchday programme next year. I asked him for further information (minimum requirements, sponsors, that kinda thing) and sought confirmation that an online version (only) will be okay.
I spoke to Ben Flatt last week and confirmed that we'd heard nothing back. So at Ben's request, I forwarded the email to him and asked him to chase it up.
Still nothing.
I'm sure Scott Harris is building a great squad for next year. But, at the moment, it looks worrying like the Chairman will be doing everything else (Club Secretary, Match Day PA Announcer, Match Day Programme Editor, Match Reporters, Radio Commentators) by himself.

Hopefully he’ll respond though I doubt it, he’s going to be very very busy next season doing all that work.

Confirms my wish not to volunteer
Why should I when clearly the Chair can’t be bothered
Maybe times will change, ie new board and chair, but in the meantime… Nope.

Reminds me of the time when Lidl were building their new massive headquarters in Tolworth. I brokered an introduction with their sponsorship department, which the Chairman (or the Marketing Executive, as he was then) failed to follow up on.

Also: if this is the way the club say goodbye to Robert after all those years of amazing service, shame on them. A total and utter lack of class as always.

It's nice if he received something in person and let's hope something is to follow for the website, Rob has put in a colossal amount of work for what, 20 years ish now, that deserves to be properly marked.
Not only was he doing three of the vacancies on that list (comms, programme and PA) he was also assistant secretary and did some of those jobs for the U18s as well. The efforts to keep producing an award-winning programme and up-to-date website are massive.
Non league clubs desperately rely on dedicated volunteers like Rob, who combine hard work with a great passion for the club and the game as a whole. He'll be a really tough act to follow.

Totally agree
While the two of them were mentioned in the “end-of-season” presentation, nothing has been published since.
I’d be minded to help out - although they are big shoes to fill after Robert- but I won’t because it lends legitimacy to the current regime. (And I hope someone from the board is reading this because it’s not “negativity” but a statement of my position. I’m sure I’m not the only one either)

Agree. Although I think the social media and website this season have not been as good as previous seasons, the programme is excellent and will be missed.
