“true Swiss Army knife of a player, and can do any job you like, and excel.”
Hopefully he can keep an eye on the board’s spending of the AFC money.

It is hard to believe that we as a group cannot welcome these people and the whole rebuilding our hitherto crap team with promotion heroes from another club with carping on about the blood money.
For what it is worth, AFC have to sign off withdrawals from the escrow account and be satisfied with its use. Therefore there is already and has always been a safeguard as to its expenditure and it has only been spent in line with what AFC agreed.
Whether or not one agrees with supporting non ground related expenses is another matter but those expenses have to be paid from some source. Personally I am okay with the club spending some money before last season to maintain a step three rankjng.
Anyway Alex Kelly is a very shrewd and capable player and welcome to him and Eddie and Mitchal so far. I am really pleased!

That's a bit harsh - I thought it was a fairly good joke about "excel".
Just as well it wasn't an in-joke! [You're fired. Ed.]

Complains about people spouting on about the Wimbledon money rather than welcoming players… spends 3 paragraphs talking about Wimbledon money and then one sentence add-on at the end welcoming them. You couldn’t make it up!
On the actual point, I doubt they’re reading this forum and are being welcomed and engaged on social media. But after 2x seasons of not spending and no nearer to a permanent ground (not even going to mention the lies) I think fans have a right to be slightly worried about where this money is coming from all of a sudden, which again is something that could have been better communicated so we don’t have to wonder..

Once bitten twice shy
Or at least two seasons of being bitten…

At least I welcomed them and said I am pleased.
I think someone mentioned that there was a new investor. If so more good news.
