Step 4 next season

I believe step 4 leagues are expanding to 22 teams with 4 to be relegated next season. I anticipate Harrow,Hayes,Farnham Knaphill or AFC Croydon, Rayners Lane or Bedfont Sports joining. Leatherhead lost to Marlow today Possible South Park May move South East.

Projections
No decent away days, if only because you can take Guernsey out of it. (It’s too expensive and not really a day trip). Might be more local matches but then with smaller teams generally, there’s less fans.

I think Sth central were looking to take the Sussex Sth coast clubs across next season. Poor old Leatherhead didn't make it,
Farnham must come into Sth central, meaning bigger 'local derby' home gates next season. Some reasons to be cheerful.

There are likely to be quite a few fun away days to where people have not been before (or at least not for awhile). The Supporters Club has done a good job in maintaining the mini buses to away games. Hopefully, with the exciting team Scott and Martyn are assembling these trips will seem much more enticing than during the dire 23/24 season!

Rethinking re travelling time there would be a good arguement for moving Horndean and Littlehamptonto the South Central. If that happened then the South East would have to have a couple of the Essex clubs or maybe a couple of the North Surrey clubs move across I.e Sutton Common Rovers who, I think, play at Whyteleafe. I expect when the league allocations are made there will be a couple of surprises.

The promoted club from the southern combination is Steyning and the playoff is between Newhaven and Eastbourne Town so Brighton way and further east. The south east league have to find 6 teams so Margate, Deal promoted plus one other fr9m that league and still 3 others required. The only alternative , if not Steyning , Eastbourne /Newhaven they will have to look at Essex.

It’s not cast in stone. VCD Athletic based south of the river in Bexley have played in the Isthmian league North (2009) . I don’t think county boundaries determine which league.
