Without a shadow of doubt, one of the nicest human beings I have had the pleasure to meet, his work ethic was second to none, either training or playing, would go out of his way to help you if he could, his Mum and Dad must be very proud of him, Good Luck for the future and in all you choose to do Rob.

Can only what other people have said about Rob.
Let's hope the Club keep their promise to stage a testimonial match for him during 2026-27.

Don't you wish your goalkeeper was Rob Tolfrey

Speaking to a supporter today who said the testimonial will be to open the new ground that Yioryos is building at the Hawker site. Can anyone confirm?!

If that's the plan it's just more of the board's typical wishful thinking. They should just give Rob a testimonial now.

Nice idea, highly unlikely.

An incredible Ks career, it's true that we'll likely never see someone play so many games for us again. At his prime it felt like he could surely have gone to a higher level yet he always stayed loyal to Ks.
Seems odd to be honest that the testimonial won't be for another two seasons, why wouldn't it be this season?

Rob has already had a Testimonial match, which took place in 2015, and proved to be 9 years premature!
However, the amazing, probably un-matched, loyalty that this guy has given to one club, deserves that he get another one.
Many thanks go to Rob for his undying loyalty to Kingstonian.
He has, without doubt, been at the club through some thick times, and some very thin times, but always turned up the next season to go again.
I'm certain his record of 650 apperances will never be beaten and that we would all love to see him come back to join us on the terraces in the future.
Thank you Rob, you are a TRUE legend.

Presumably because the club will be dead within 650 matches.

That’s a very negative comment Gary which I don’t believe there was any need for in this thread of posts celebrating the achievements of an outstanding player and loyal servant of Kingstonian.

Thanks for posting this news. Rob was indeed an excellent Ks goal keeper if not the best stopper K's ever had.

Good luck to Rob, a gentleman and a player.
Down with the board.
