Tbh it’s an awful job, the rules change to much that I don’t think referees even know the rules anymore. Some have been alright especially the French one. Probably one of the best at the moment.

The first 2 rounds of games they were exceptional, probably not one bad or contentious decision between them.

A few more since then, ref in Englands last 16 was a bit card happy… but handballs aren’t really their fault, it’s how they’re told to officiate. Overall still very good tournament though.

Don't expect a edge of seat game because of all the
Last eight teams Switzerland are seventh and England
are eighth on the speed of moving the ball forward
Which shows up how clueless Southgate has been.
