And to think that three of the four names listed there have run the supporters club, you’d expect that they would have some kind of respect for the supporters of this club and understand how important communication with our deteriorating fanbase would be.

Unfortunately holidays aren’t something booked months in advance and therefore can’t be foreseen, so at least that solid reasoning for cancelling 4 days out…

Players taking holidays is pretty standard at this level unfortunately. If you have players who teach or work in schools, summer holidays are all you can really take, and wages are not as high.
