Well that was a nice 1 month loan for him…
Will sound like sour grapes but thought he looked the most average in the new front line across pre-season anyway. Maybe we can put his wage back in the Stadium pot?

On the contrary. IMHO, I thought Adam Liddle looked a cut above and
could be playing at a level or two above step 4.
Its a shame he's not staying and also a little worrying.

Yeah I also thought he looked very good from the two pre-season games I saw.
Did think we looked a little top heavy, though, so maybe not a total disaster to lose a forward, especially if it means burning through a little less of our 'life savings'...

“He went away to Kingstonian and played well in pre-season, but I don’t think he was enjoying it there as much as he enjoyed his football with us last season. We know what he brings, he knows the system and we know his quality. We felt we were in need of another body in attack and I’m looking forward to working with Lids again this season.”
