Here we go
Views: 1638
Well after a very good start to the season which we haven't been able to say for a few years here we go into the FA Cup.
We should be confident although not over confident and hopefully enticing extra support back from the debacle of recent times.
The support I am sure is still out there and with a side playing good and winning football I am confident they will return as the season progreses.I hope we are ready for them with exciting off the field goings on.
Nice to confidently say come on Ks

do agree with your analysis there. To be honest people had to be pretty stoic to have endured last season. We now have an excellent management team and squad. Most and probably all of the players Scott brought with him could be playing at a higher level and for more money. They have chosen loyalty and group friendships over money. They are the exact opposite of the journey men who are so common these days who will move clubs for extra £ a week. It is a privilege to be able to support them.
If our team can capitalise on the strong start, we should hopefully significantly boost attendances. This should, as you say, bring back quite a few fans who are still out there. We also need crucially to attract new fans and for the first time for years this seems a realistic possibility. As you say:
Come on you Ks

RPV put out flags at the Grand Drive entrance, we had flags At KGF. Cannot we do the same for all home matches?

Good idea - thanks I’m sure we could do something similar.

One small idea in particular: corner flags.
Just a really small thing but a) because it’s small it’s hopefully doable (someone could stick them in their boot!) and b) makes a proper difference to feeling like an actual home game.
It was really noticeable on Saturday for a competitive game.

To be honest, I never thought about Corner flags but thanks I’ll look into it.

If I’m the only weirdo that’s every noticed, don’t worry about it!
Was lovely to have red and white when we played at KGF though.

Hi
Being observant isn’t weird . I just hadn’t spotted this before. I think it’s worth doing so I’ll follow up.

I don’t always agree with you John, but thanks for enagaging with the fans here and being open to suggestions from fans. Hopefully you’ll feed this back at board meetings and they’ll listen to you that listen to fans and we work together with positive ideas to move forwards.

Well ,at the end of the day we are all just fans and it is really helpful to have practical suggestions. For example, a bycyle rack has been provided, as a result of recent comments from fans. This is now benefiting fans of both clubs. Sometimes getting little details right can make a big difference.
