That win at Hayes was unexpected after the farce at Cobham
So if you were present please give your take on it.

It was a good game and we were deserved winners. It was notable that we were much more compact than in recent weeks and that we looked to move the ball forward much quicker. Pep probably wouldn’t be a fan, but at this level and with the quality of attacking players we currently have, it’s a solid tactic to get the ball to them asap.
Reuben Duncan played much further forward than he had previously, which helped us to keep the ball more effectively in the final third. Alex Kelly meanwhile played a lot deeper, keeping the ball moving and offering some protection to the defenders. That contributed to the defence looking much more solid - I thought both Arsen Ujkaj and Joe Hicks had excellent games, and I love the commitment that Joe P-J puts into everything he does. Liam Allen made one excellent save and generally his distribution was very good.
If we keep this group together, we have a reasonable chance of staying in the top 5. If we can’t keep them for long, the more points we get now the less chance we have of doing a Casuals…

Yeah, agree with this. Thought it was one of our best performances of the season.
Was worried when we went behind given the collapse in the week but the lads kept plugging away and were deserved winners.
