My Kingstonian love affair
Views: 1121
I first saw K's 3rd November 1962 v Leytonstone 5-2 at Richmond Road. My second ever football match aged 10. I was born in Kingston Hospital. My family moved from Cobham to Walthamstow where my love of Non League blossomed.
We moved to Hoddesdon in Hertford and a lot of new Non League club grounds to visit but I always found a way to see the K's . Kingsmeadow, The Beveree, King George's Field, Imperial Fields and finally Grand Drive this weekend v Sutton Common Rovers. Obviously it did not happen despite games on the adjoining pitches. a near 4 hour journey for where I live now M25 M4 A4 terrible traffic and no K's.
But I will be back my love affair will go on . I would like to thank all the people who keep Kingstonian FC going. I only wish I could be at more games but life and finance stops me.
So whether you are a regular or board member I wish you all a big thanks and look forward to being where ever K's are playing. I'm already looking for my next game. Long live the K's.

Yes I am a Stevenage fan. I live 20 minutes walk from the ground. I have always watched my local team where ever I lived over the big boys of League football .
But the K's are my 1st team and I am sad to see how our fortunes have gone down hill.
Also thanks for the ways to follow the K's that you have mentioned. It will keep me updated and not depending on the Non League newspaper.
