Has the Supporter's Club Committee considered sponsorship for this ? If the price was more competitive then more fans would use the bus. I am sure that there are firms who would like to help fun the cost.

Hi again
We launched a "tip the driver" option on the travel part of the store for those wanting to help subsidise the cost at the beginning of the season for the very reason you stated. I don't have the information to hand but I think this option has only been taken up the once.

If you know of any firms of the top of your head who would actively want to help subsidise the travel then please drop me a message or tell me at a game and I'll happily get in touch with them.
The reality does still remain that the amount of people going to a game is dropping and therefore persons requiring coach travel has gone down. I think the natural way to get these up is marketing/promotions to get new fans and onboard with the clubs journey, which it sadly lacking from the club

Just a thought
Can you offer a range of prices, eg £5, £10, £20 and £50 as well for this because £40 is a lot for some. But if 8 people give £5 then you’d get something rather than me thinking … no. Not even as a one-off.
I’m sure with a bit of marketing aggressively you’d find people who might chip in a fiver or a tenner often
Thank you

I can and will certainly pass this on to the committee and see what the thoughts are.
As I have said previously I am open to hearing any ideas on how to make the travel more cost effective to take to the committee. Just drop me an email

Just a thought but I wonder if Jon Tolly owner of Banquet Records would be interested in sponsoring the bus travel.

I think & quote me if I’m wrong, he was one of the 13 part of the KBH that wanted to but the board played hardball & said no. I think a few people on here were against it as well.

Hey supahoops7, Jon was indeed part of our KBH group that was looking to secure the long term future of Kingstonian. But it turned out Yioryios steered the board to a different outcome. He must know best.

About Jon Tolley, Banquet Records and KBH.
Running a football club needs more than deep pockets. It needs business acumen, good friends & contacts, social media skills, and a winning personality. Good luck finding any of those amongst Yioryos, Jim and Ben.
Let's think about that as we wish Banquet Records a happy 20th birthday.
