Badshot Lea away & free midweeks
Views: 867
Badshot Lea away is now March 4th but far concerning is that we have 4 free midweeks left : 25/26 march, 1/2 April, 8/9 April & 15/16 April for anymore postponements. We could possibly be looking at alternatives home games or double midweek games soon.

Agree, I'm getting pretty worried now. About congestion, about tiredness, and about whether there will be doubt about whether this pitch can support two (and more) sides playing on it next season.
I've found it very strange that some Ks fans have celebrated postponements as it means we will get players back from injury to play in the rearranged fixture. Think of the bigger picture.

I’ll hold my hands up with that bit in my defence when you had a couple of injuries in defence with a suspended defender you’d hope an extra few days off would help. It did but longed out the suspension

Re: the condition of the pitch, I was wondering when ground shares are agreed by the Isthmian League whether it’s a one-off agreement and permission is granted for the duration of the arrangement or whether it’s subject to review and permission has to be sought and granted annually from the league?

I guess it would be something recognized by the league for as long as the duration of the tenancy agreement is.
In our case, we've always had '1 year rolling contracts' at Fetcham Grove, King George's Field, Imperial Fields & now Grand Drive (that list is getting long to type out!) so you'd assume that we would have to provide the league with reassurances annually about where we are playing.
Given the timings of our ground share announcements historically my guess is the deadline for that is some time in the latter half of the previous season.

I was wondering whether the agreement is rent-based weekly/monthly, and the weather is just an act of God. Or whether it's payment for services, and we'd get a refund if we have to pay to play elsewhere.
Just idle speculation, I haven't really got a clue what I'm talking about!
