Fixture pile up

I, along with other Ks supporters, am getting more concerned about the number of postponed games due to the weather. Without mentioning any particular clubs, I spoke this morning with the CEO of the Isthmian league (Kellie Discipline) who said that the season WILL NOT be extended beyond 26th April. She said that if it meant clubs playing 4 games in a week (for example) to get the fixtures played then so be it. She said it was down to each club to sort out possible different venues where the games can be played if not, artificial pitches I assume, and that this had been done by clubs in previous seasons. Whether the cost should be borne by the Landlord or Tenant in the case of ground sharing would be down to each particular agreement/contract between the relevant clubs. Let's hope Ks are already investigating this possibility in light of the current fixture pile up for not only Ks but also RPV.

The good news is even if we have to pay someone to use their ground for a few game we still have plenty of AFC money left. As long as the playing budget isn't impacted while we push for promotion back into the big time!

This winter's weather just wasn't foreseeable sadly. Just one of those things.

The problem is cost & what’s left of the AFC Wimbledon money, it’s very worrying. Hopefully the board are just as concerned like the fans

Is there a world where ground-shares become an uncommon practice in the near future? Is the financial reward that much of a benefit if your pitch gets chewed up by another club and results in fixture congestion for two clubs. Corinthian Casuals released a statement on January 24, that they would not be seeking a ground-share arrangement in the foreseeable future after this season. They are currently sharing with Epsom & Ewell. Obviously, this probably wouldn’t be much of an issue if you have a 3g pitch.

I fear that could be it, to far from Kingston. Though my money would be Carshalton or Dorking, with side bets on Met, Sutton, & Tooting .

Hampton might be a good bet for a one off game.

I remember having to play Fleet at Hampton years ago as they didn't want to play on a Sunday

Don’t think the pitch has been great this season, I think they’ve had a few postponement . Plus I was thinking of grounds with 3/4/5G pitches or half decent pitches (ones with less postponements before I upset anyone).

Only Hampton can use the pitch, Council ruling regarding tenancy.

Off to COBHAM we go then.
With prospects of bad weather and
more postponement's to come I cannot
see another match at RPV until March.
