In context:
Our current average this season is 264, so 90 down on the average, on a cold Wednesday evening vs a team that are mid table and not playing for anything, in the middle of a stacked fixture pile up.
Farnham average 620 this season and their crowd on the same night was 234, just 60 higher than our crowd while they’re top of the division and nearly 400 down on their average.
The previous evening RPV at the same ground as us had an attendance of 137 (average 250), ,Horndean 101, Badshot Lea 97, Binfield 96. The only decent crowd this midweek was Hayes getting 309 (106 above their average) while in a local derby with Uxbridge, both teams aiming for play offs.

Point being, this doesn’t equate to a disaster when taken into context. I’m sure we’ll have a good crowd out for Met Police away on Saturday to hoist their average crowd of 95

I think you could safely take 30-50 off of Vale's declared attendance the day before as a guess.

Two teams. Probably less than 250 for 2 games this week (Ks and Vale). Not great is It?

Probably not sustainable for either.

I'm still not sure how much some of the malicious commentary on here makes people decide not to go.- legitimate protest is one thing whereas personally insulting name calling is another.

If the club, Vale and other potential ground share and new ground options are viewing the constant toxicity, surely that must, in some quarters, be having a detrimental effect?

Is it possible that some of the hazards at RPVFC that have been reported on this forum including the step on and off the stand, the entrance, the decking and uneven terracing are putting some off attending?

If stuff on here is a problem, we should really have a word to some ks players who act online like they’re trying to get us thrown out. that aside…

Overall, it is of course nuanced.
Attendances through the league this midweek are down (yes weather, yes champions league, and yes lots of things) footfall in Kingston and Woking town centre last night also markedly down.

at the same time Kingstonian is an an awful existential position, and the club is indeed dying. and yes, some may have been looking at how to ufck off and form their own club

IMO the real problem isn't a few supporters calling Yioryos a clown (whether online or to his face) it's the complete lack of any strategic plan to resolve the situation.

A year ago the supporters club conducted this survey into falling attendances:

/comeonuks.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/sc-survey-into-falling-attendances-1.docx

The actual figure was counted by supporters last night as you can do at every game given so few people are in attendance.

The board refused to respond to this survey or even act on its findings. This is the equivalent of a failing business being offered free consultancy but refusing it then continuing to fail!
