Harry Hugo, Chairman of Farnham Town FC
"We're totally TRANSPARENT with everything we do and that's why I've written a full thread below of everything we discussed last night.
I love doing the Fan Forums once or twice a year. I think we got to about 45 attendees last night which is a great showing on a freezing Thursday evening.
Thread below of some of the things I presented and some of my longer thoughts."

One highlight
"Yearly attendance growth at the club since 2017 has been dramatic. That year the average attendance was 57, now it sits at more than 10x that on 648.
I think that number will be close to 700 by the end of the season with some big home fixtures coming up."

"Incredibly hard to quantify the social media true cost as it’s run mainly by @MichaelOIiver and a bit myself and we’ve been running social media accounts for over 15 years each and we’re clearly volunteers and charge nothing. If we were charging out that work I’d expect it to be close to £10,000 a month just for our hours which is why it’s skewed a bit there.
Then we have @saj_rahman_ who runs the YouTube shorts and TikTok accounts. They generate revenue via advertising on viewership and more than covers for Saj’s payment which he has worked to get to a position where it’s profitable for the club. He’s done a fantastic job."
This is the sort of expertise that Yioryos has alienated among supporters (former volunteers) at Kingstonian and explicitly rejected in the bid from KBH.

This is yet another reminder that it doesn’t need to be this way, Kingstonian FC doesn’t need to be run into the ground to the point where it barely exists. We still have an army of highly skilled people ready to take the reins and make our club a success again but change is urgently needed.
We don't have a board with any ideas, any plan, ability to communicate and get the fans onside. The board are very much anti fans, they have made that clear with their behaviour towards us not just this season but this is consistent with how we have been treated by those running the club over the past 15 years.
Many of us look at teams like Farnham, Dulwich, Lewes even Walton and Hersham and think of the art of the possible. What do they have that we don’t? Well they have Boards that know the importance of engaging with the supporters, communications, marketing –ultimately growth mindsets. You have to have the right people at the helm wanting their club to progress.
When we look at initiatives like non league day next week it shouldn’t have to be the supporters club or supporters prodding the club to do something, it should be the board leading this with supporters' input. Remember these people chose to be on the board, we did not ask them to. This is the frustrating thing, there are so many initiatives that we could run not just for non league day but throughout the season and so many great people to help make this work. The problem is that most of our fans will not work with this board for a variety of reasons most of which boil down to trust and confidence.
Thus when I’m flagging things like the low attendance this week, I’m not laughing or being smug because actually it's the proof of the complete decline of our club which breaks my heart. The decline in attendances, move away from Kingston, poor treatment of supporters, being continually kept in the dark and no plan whatsoever; for many of us this just proves that these are not the right people to be running the club.
There is an alternative!
