Thought we were worth a point today.
We were the better footballing side IMO, but always susceptible to conceding to their top striker.
Orher results around us were fairly kind today.
We need to take points frim RPV and Leatherhesd in the next two games to stay in the mix

In my opinion from what I saw today I think we got what we deserved today.
Not enough forward play, a lot side ways & backward passing but basically going nowhere.
We didn’t work their GK nowhere near enough today in fact he had a very comfortable afternoon.
I lost count of how many times with a ball over the top we might’ve been in on goal because the 2 Hanworth CB’s weren’t close enough at times but we chose to go sideways or backwards & in the end the moment is lost.
Their 2 CB’s marshalled our front line quite easily in the end.
K’s are to predictable in their play & are to ponderous in getting the ball forward.
I get probing the opposition whilst keeping possession but the opposition won’t go full press like in the Premier League.
We seem to go GK to CB to Rueben to midfield quite a lot & maybe bypassing Rueben & going GK to CB to midfield or wide men a bit more would make the opposition think more & turn the defence around rather than always playing in front of them which is easier to defend against.
I still believe that we will make the play offs but on current form we might not get 2nd place.
Every game now is massive if we want to hold on to a play off spot as the chasing pack are well & truly on our tails & we have definitely gone off the boil in our performances lately.
Draw a line under the last few weeks & start a fresh midweek vs RPV & get back on track & back on form.

The bubble has burst big time .
Over the past 10 games we have 12 points
and are 14th in the form table .
We look pretty clueless at the moment and
the team lack motivation at a very important
period in the season.

Can’t disagree with anything you have written.
It’s like the team are more scared of losing than going for the win, happy to see how the game plays out rather than taking the game to the opposition.
I know that sounds ridiculous as all teams want to win but they’re looking for someone in the starting 11 to do something magical & conjur up a goal from it rather than letting their football do the talking.
Obviously the tactics are down to the manager but sometimes a player on the pitch has to see what’s in front or around him & back themselves even if it means diverting from the original game plan.
It’s about being brave & backing yourselves in your own ability & backing your fellow team mates that they will join you in diverting from the original plan.
I’m sure Scott Harris wouldn’t call out any player on the pitch if they did this but sometimes you have to move away from the original game plan momentarily if you see as a player a weakness in the opposition that can be exploited.
Scott isn’t on the pitch & players see things in front of them & around them that they know they can exploit that maybe the coaching staff haven’t seen.
It’s then that you back yourselves in knowing your team mates will go with you on it & try a new way of exploiting the opposition.
Also with that I would add that the tempo is very low which allows the opposition to get back into a defensive unit/position before K’s have reached the halfway line so a higher tempo & mixing it up more with the long & short game would keep the opposition defence honest & also keep them guessing as to what is coming at them next.
Just my opinion on how I’ve seen things & I'm not criticising any of the coaching staff at K’s.

I have no concrete evidence but I do wonder if the Club has realised how much it would cost the Club to go up and have decided that we would be better off staying at this level. Can we really afford to go up? Won’t it just result in us losing a lot more money if we do?

That was their justification for what was essentially voluntary relegation last season. Doubt much has changed cost wise unless the board was thinking/hoping for an attendance spike due to great performances on the pitch at a new ground share, which just hasn't happened despite the performances on field

SACK THE BOARD! Just because it's boring (to you) it doesn't make it incorrect.
Imagine shouting abuse at one of the best managers we've ever had pretty much every game, verbally abusing fans whilst telling them it's your club, spunking the best part of £700k up the wall on everything but a ground and you still have people that'll brown nose and believe everything they're told. Club is dieing and some people can't remove their noses from the director's rear ends and see what's going on.

https://forum.kingstonian.net/article/169466
[No justification for ringing anyone at that hour, especially “harassing” them ever. I hope you raised it at the time, or someone else did because it’s unacceptable.]
Why have you only now bought it up
As for the “new ground”, you seem to be dancing around its certainty. I don’t think anyone will believe it’s happening until the first home matches played there. Maybe you need to reflect on that. I’ve more faith in LibDem councillors producing a “world-beating” leisure centre where the hole that was the Kingfisher is. Or was it “the best in London”? At least residents will see something even if it’s a brick wall two bricks high by this time next year - local elections incoming by then.

You are factually wrong on at least two points in that statement!
Taking photos of a child in a women's arms
Worth noting that taking photos of members of the public in a public place is entirely legal. And remember please that woman was screaming abuse at supporters. Her threats of legal action just made the whole thing even funnier.

What is the context around this please? I’ve never been made aware of this so is this actually true or more bullshit the board have fed you to keep you onside?
On the point of ‘Sack the Board’ you have brought that up in this thread. You’ve shown your true colours to supporters by constantly backing this and previous boards who have lied to us, have no plans to grow the club, been responsible for the overall decline of Kingstonian fc , given us a relegation and are nothing to do with Kingston. I can go on and in fact I’m sure this will probably feature in a book that a number of us can contribute to. As it will be non fiction it might be a bit hard for you to follow!

Why should I have to say a name it should not have happened if you ask me.
It was to do with after the Ashford game where we lost.
All I am saying is not have an argument that things have happened from fans and board and the place is not nice and has not been for years which we all know.
We all no this has to be resolved but how ? When ?
Things have happened on the directors side and fans side like the above for example
We are all fans and need to resolve it ASAP

Hi Foley
Your previous post made it sound more recently, also why bring up something from 5 months ago. It’s not been nice because the only constant thing we’ve had a Ks the past 10 years was Tolfs. Multiple managers, multiple bad seasons (ones that have seen us near relegation (until last season un voluntary relegation, multiple homes, low crowds & people in the club that don’t seem to appreciate the fans that travel home & away. Instead if you support the club financially you’re more respected (12th scheme & friends of Kingstonian)
Oh & better communication but been asking that for years now

Thing is, Foley, I think it's got past the point now where "a ground" is enough.
The Board have shown that they are unfit/unable/unwilling to run Kingstonian football club. If they don't change very soon, a breakaway club looks inevitable. (In fact, it may be too late already.)

Just out of interest what sort of change could forestall a breakaway? Specifically, is there any middle ground whereby some sort of change happens with the current board remaining in place or is a form of fan ownership the only way?

I can only speak for myself, of course. But it would require a change of biblical proportions from the Board before I could work with them. Yioryos himself instructed us to go forth and multiply, remember.

1. From the people I speak to that is “been harassing” Scott they haven’t communicated with him for a while (probably October time)
2. While I look forward to hearing/ seeing the news about the new ground, it’s hard to get excited as we’ve been down this road numerous times only to get screwed over. Proof is in the pudding.
3. The directors are happy to speak to people, just not good at responding to emails. Even when the supporters club ask questions about non league day & inquiring about a couple of things about Guernsey away.
4. As your the person with the news about the new ground, any idea when the other fans will get an update & not just a select few. Thank you
5. Will the club be doing a end of season award after the season & will the give good notice about it & not a week notice (notice that a big theme this season re rescheduled games)
6. Efff F1, they screwed over Ferarri - total bs DQ them
Thank you Paul or any others willing to answer.
See you Tuesday
