That’s Stan, Duncan, Kelly and Mills who have left recently.
Felt like the current manager was able to build a competitive squad last season based on loyalty from his previous role.
Probably hard to play the loyalty card when you take the job from your former assistant and centre back.

It would seem to me that you need some sort of budget to maintain a stable squad,it would appear that we don't have one,the chairman it's obvious doesn't have a pot to p--s in and looks to the gate for some sort of finance,He has thick skin never seems embarrassed by the results and stands congratulating players leaving the pitch after a poor display and a loss.I have supported 70 odd years and seen chairman come and go,most do the dirty deed then go,Anderson Wainwright and Fenwick spring to mind recently, and leave the club in the hands of a moronic yahoo who has no idea how to run the club ,God save the Ks.

Whilst some of this may well be true, some of the criticism of the chairman since Saturday is ridiculous and actually just undermines plausible complaints against the board.
Based on what I’ve seen, for the next game we want the chairman to stand about on his own, not talking to anyone and generally looking very miserable for a full 3 hours. And if he can shout some abuse at the players and tell them how useless they are as they’re leaving the pitch that would be great.

This is a fair point.
On the pitch results are about 1% of the issues with the chairman and we shouldn’t fixate on it.
However we are all football fans at heart - that’s why we are watching k’s - so the desire to watch a team compete on the pitch is natural too.

All good players IMO and worthy of wearing the famous hoops. I've enjoyed watching them play for Ks.
Scott Harris has been loyal to these players and mostly recieved their loyalty in return. However, we all know that good things come to an end and as Ks supporters, we know how painful that has been over the years.
Scott Harris has identified some good young players and is bringing them to the club. It doesn't look like the manager is going to change the style of play any time soon, but the rebuild is underway and fingers crossed, the new group of talented young players will soon have us up the right end of the table.

You mention young players being bought in which is undoubtedly true, I would refer to them as cheap, young players which is also true. These changes stink of the squad budget being cut and may go some way to explaining our recent manager merry go round.

Okay let’s spend spend spend, what about sustainability. Also am I allowed to mention the class of 92 with the promotion of multiple youth players. Sunny, Bryan & Taehyun have all looked good this season when they’ve played. Hopefully Ewan gets his chance (looked at in pre season & at Colliers Wood last three games)
Have faith in the youth team, it did well for Manchester United. Just be patient with them, they’ll make mistakes but who doesn’t

Reflecting on this again after watching yesterday, the big difference is that the class of '92 players were blended with the other half of the team who were experienced, physically imposing and were fundamentally a team of incredibly tough characters who weren't going to be bullied by anyone and nor allow their young team-mates to be. The rest of that team was Schmeichel, Bruce, Pallister, Irwin, Keane, Cantona and Cole. Good luck trying to rough David Beckham up when he's got that lot backing him up.
Yesterday we just looked really lightweight and if we're going to rely significantly on youngsters, especially as we head into winter, then we're going to need to find some more experienced players to go with them. Obviously in non-league we're not going to have a bunch of characters like the 90s Man United side but it shouldn't be unrealistic to sign two or three characters who know how to win at this level and can help bring the youngsters along. It really feels like we need another CB, CM and striker to give this team a better spine and then we might be quite good. I don't know if that's realistic financially though.

The football club is in grave danger of being relegated
a scenario most of us find depressingly sad and unforgivable.
We have been hoodwinked and deceived by unscrupulous
people for as long as I can remember and I've been a supporter
since the mid sixties.
The present chairman has treated the club like it is his own
personal plaything with very little thought given to people like me.

Thanks Korky all the best to you, but for people like you and me
The club has been a huge part of our life as it has for many other
people so to see it disintegrate before our eyes is heartbreak
would you not agree.
The unforgivable way the current chairman is going about this
sad scenario is truly shocking .
The supporters have to do something urgently to stop this from
happening .
A complete boycott would be a start ,why should we shelve out
our hard earned cash only to be treated like we don't matter.
The chairman seems quite happy to see this demise , but for
you ,me and many more it is nothing short of heartbreaking.

Well said sir, I too started to support The K’s in the mid sixties through thick and thin, but I haven’t been impressed by the recent antics of this current administration . I’m 73 years old and not in the best of health but still enjoy following Kingstonian via radio broadcasts. I wish our beloved leader would come clean about what he’s planning.
Keith.
Why worry, be happy.

I think we'll be able to see where the team is at after the November games. A lot of teams we face are around us in the table.
I'd be worried that Hendon and Southall are going to pick up and overtake us.

Totally agree, Ollie. I think it doesn’t really matter how big or small the playing budget is, sustainability is paramount.
Also, going back to IO’s point about player quality, we are now 3 months into the season and top notch replacements for the recent departures do not grow on trees. From what I’m reading, Scott is doing a fine job with youngsters from the youth team and scouting out the best available players willing to join our troubled club. The best available players are either out of our league price-wise, or would have doubts about joining.
