Lovely bloke and so helpful with my history project. Perhaps some older fans will recall him. He displaced Brian Wakefield for a season.

If anyone does have memories of his time at the K's I can pass them on to his wife.

I remember him well. He was in goal when I first started supporting The K's. A very good keeper. My condolences to his family. R.I.P. Bob.


Looking at the photo, what a tough team they were. With Reg Taylor and Dave Leonard (amongst a load of other greats) a few bruises were dished out.

Dennis Montague.....possibly the most skilful midfielder to have ever played for Ks.(alongside the great Rod Haider of course)
